Logs and diagnostics
Where BakoshApp writes its log, what the common log lines mean, and how to tell from a categoryId which mod an action belongs to.
When something doesn't work, the log usually says why. BakoshApp writes it in two places:
- The console — Show Console at the bottom of the window. It keeps the last 200 lines; under a flood of likes it may skip some.
- The log file —
%LOCALAPPDATA%\app.bakosh.desktop\logs\bakosh.log. It never skips lines, and some technical lines — such as the TikTok connection details — go only to the file. Paste%LOCALAPPDATA%\app.bakosh.desktop\logsinto the Explorer address bar to open the folder. Times in the file are in UTC. When the file reaches 5 MB, BakoshApp renames it tobakosh_<date>.logand starts a new one. The three newest of these archives are kept, so an older problem may be in one of them.
When you report a problem in Community or Discord, add the lines around the moment it happened.
Common log lines
| Line | What it means |
|---|---|
Dispatch → WebSocketSendMultiple: player_5stars x1 by viewer | A TikTok or Kick event ran the action player_5stars once, for that viewer. |

Auto-updating … mod... / … mod auto-updated successfully! | BakoshApp updated an installed mod at start. Failures are explained in Install, update and delete errors. |
Lost connection to the game
[2026-09-20][09:15:42][app_lib::core::ws_manager][INFO] Game connection closed.If the game dropped the connection without closing it properly, you may see [ERROR] WebSocket error: WebSocket protocol error: Connection reset without closing handshake instead — it means the same.
The mod in the game stopped talking to BakoshApp: the game was closed or crashed, or, for Rust Survival, you left the server or it stopped. Viewer actions for the game stop working until it's back. Start the game again — the mod reconnects by itself. More in Connection and app errors.
Blocked action from TikFinity
[2026-09-20][12:09:38][app_lib::http_server][WARN] Blocked action (Please check your settings): categoryId=chaosmodvehicle, actionId=…Not an app error: TikFinity asked for an action that the active mod doesn't offer right now, and BakoshApp refused it. Usually:
- another mod is switched on in the sidebar, or none;
- the action was turned off, deleted, or given a non-TikFinity trigger;
- the action isn't in the Free set, or your PRO or MAX has ended;
- on Free, a KOTH-style mod already uses its first five vehicle, prop or wagon actions;
- the action belongs to an automatic mod, which needs MAX.
Fix the cause, then pick the action again in TikFinity — see TikFinity setup.
