RDR2 Train Auto
An automatic train run in Red Dead Redemption 2: the train drives itself while viewers drop wagons, boats and props on the track. MAX.
You drive a train that runs by itself from one of eight stations, while viewers drop wagons, boats and props on the track, change the speed, the direction or the whole train, or derail it. Every hour without a crash earns a win.
Plan: MAX — it's one of the four automatic mods. Without MAX you can still install it and open its settings, but the sidebar shows a lock instead of the switch, and the Presets, Actions and Overlay tabs are locked. See Free vs PRO vs MAX.
Install
Install the mod from Manage Mod — see Installing mods. It uses the same files as RDR2 Chaos, RDR2 KOTH and RDR2 KOTH Auto. Switch RDR2 Train Auto on in the sidebar and load story mode; the run starts once you're in free roam.
How it plays
- The train starts at the Default Track station (Valentine by default) and runs at 60 mph. Past the game's own top speed of about 67 mph, the mod moves the train along the track itself, up to 3000 mph.
- Viewers' wagons and props land on the track ahead; each hit costs train health and slows the train.
- Wins: every hour on the track gives +1 win and heals you (Survive Seconds for +1 Win in F11 → Goal). When the train's health reaches 0, it derails and you lose a win; a viewer's Derail Train doesn't cost a win.
- God Mode is always on, and dying doesn't cost a win. The run pauses; after you respawn, the train restarts (with Auto Restart on) or you're put back on board.
What viewers can do
Train mod RDR2 (20): Start Train, Stop Train, Derail Train, Toggle Direction, Next Train, Default Speed, Speed Up, Speed Down, Health Train Up, Health Train Down, Health Train Set, Health Train Max — the same as in GTA V Train Auto — and eight Track: … actions for the stations Valentine, Flatneck, Rhodes, Annesburg, Van Horn, Bacchus, Wallace and Riggs.
Next Train cycles through six trains: Gunslinger (the default), Winter Passenger, Armoured, Private Passenger, Winter Freight and Private Express.
Viewers can also drop 74 vehicles — carts, wagons, coaches, buggies, guns and boats — and 33 props on the track. External Commands, the Win Counter and Team Score actions and the Avatar actions are available too.
Train Tuning
The gear next to Delete Mod opens Train Tuning — the same settings as in GTA V Train Auto, with a few narrower limits for RDR2's map. Changes apply at once, even during a run.
