Presets
Keep several setups of a mod — its actions and its overlay — and switch between them in one click, start from Quick start, and send a preset to another BakoshApp account. 3 presets per mod on Free, 10 on PRO and MAX.
A preset is one complete setup of a mod: its actions — with their triggers, sounds, hotkeys and on/off state — together with the mod's overlay layout. A mod can hold several presets, for example one for a chill stream and one for a gift battle, and exactly one of them is active. Every mod and every custom integration has its own presets, on every plan.
The Presets tab
Presets is the second tab of a mod's page, between Manage Mod and Actions. The tab itself shows the name of the active preset, so you can see from any page of the mod what you're editing.
The Actions and Overlay tabs always edit the active preset. To edit another preset, activate it first.
The table lists the mod's presets:
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| # | The order the presets were created in. |
| Name | The preset's name; a preset made from a template has a Template badge. |
| Actions | Turned-on actions out of all of them, and how many have a hotkey. |
| Triggers | How many actions react to each platform and to TikFinity. A warning sign counts actions without a working trigger — they never run from stream events. |
| Widgets | The overlay widgets in the preset; hover to see their names. |
| Manage | Activate, rename, and more behind ⋯. |
The counter above the table shows how many presets the mod has out of its limit; New preset adds one.
Switch the active preset
Click the lightning button (Activate) in the row. The preset becomes active at once: the game, TikFinity, hotkeys and the overlay in OBS all switch to it. Actions that are already running finish as usual.
While the preset switches, the Actions and Overlay tabs are locked for a moment ("Unavailable while the preset is switching").
What a preset doesn't include, because it belongs to the mod or to your account rather than to one setup:
- the ramp of KOTH and the other settings behind the gear on Manage Mod;
- the scores of Win Counter, Team Score and Death Counter;
- TTS Chat, the avatar and the connections in Settings.
TikFinity links gifts to the actions of one preset. A copy of a preset keeps those links; for a preset you built separately, add the actions in TikFinity too — see TikFinity setup.
If the new preset reacts to Kick chat and Kick was connected without chat, BakoshApp asks you to reconnect Kick.
Create a preset
Click New preset, enter a Name (up to 40 characters) and choose what to Start from:
- Empty — no actions and no widgets;
- Copy of a preset — the same actions and widgets as an existing preset; TikFinity links keep working;
- Quick start — a ready set for the mod, if the mod has one (see below).
The new preset isn't active until you activate it.
Quick start
Quick start is a ready preset to begin with: six or seven free actions on popular gifts and on follows, plus an Action Board on the overlay that shows viewers which gift does what. Every mod except TABS Battle also gets a Health Bar and a Death Counter that show what the game reports (see Health, deaths and distance from the game); KOTH and Chaos add a Win Counter and Finish Distance, TABS Battle a Team Score. The actions are the ones streamers most often put on those gifts.
On Free, Quick start uses TikFinity triggers, so add its actions in TikFinity to use them. On PRO and MAX, its actions react to TikTok gifts and follows directly.
Quick start exists for GTA V KOTH, GTA V Chaos, RDR2 KOTH, RDR2 Chaos, Rust Survival, TABS Battle, Minecraft Survival and Minecraft x GTA V Chaos. The first time you open BakoshApp with presets:
- a mod where you already had actions or overlay widgets gets them as its active preset, My preset — nothing is lost;
- a mod you haven't set up yet starts with Quick start active, if it has one, or with an empty preset.
Rename, duplicate and delete
- Rename (the pencil) — Use default name gives the preset back its built-in name.
- ⋯ → Duplicate — a copy of the preset, hotkeys included.
- ⋯ → Delete — removes the preset with its actions and widgets; it can't be undone. The active preset can't be deleted: activate another one first.
Limits
| Free | PRO | MAX | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Presets per mod or integration | 3 | 10 | 10 |
The limit counts every preset of the mod, active or not. When it's reached, New preset offers an upgrade on Free.
If you go from PRO back to Free while a mod has more than three presets, the active preset and the two oldest of the others keep working. The rest are locked: you can rename or delete them, but not activate, duplicate or send them until you have PRO again. If activating a preset would lock the one that is active now, BakoshApp asks first.
Send a preset to another account
You can give a preset to another streamer — or to your second account — by the email they sign in to BakoshApp with:
- In the preset's row, click ⋯ → Send to another account.
- Enter the Recipient's email and click Send.
No email is actually sent: the address only tells BakoshApp which account gets the preset. The recipient sees your name, avatar and email.
What arrives:
- the actions with their triggers, and the overlay layout;
- not your hotkeys — a hotkey is your own keyboard setup;
- not files from your media library (your uploaded sounds, pictures and videos); library sounds come along;
- actions that run a program or press keys (Execute program and Keystroke) arrive switched off.
Limits: 10 attempts a day, failed ones included. A preset that isn't answered within 14 days disappears, and one account can have up to 20 presets waiting.
Receive a preset
When someone sends you a preset, BakoshApp shows a notification with Open, and the mod's Presets tab gets a number. On the tab, Sent to you lists each preset with its sender and how many actions and widgets it has:
- Accept adds it as a new preset of the mod — it counts toward your limit and isn't active until you activate it. If some files won't come along or some actions arrive switched off, a dialog says so first; tick Keep them on — I trust the sender to keep program and key actions on.
- Decline removes it. To get it again, the sender has to send it once more.
A preset of a game mod can be accepted only into the same mod. A preset of a custom integration can be accepted into any of your integrations.
Common questions
"No BakoshApp account uses this email." Check the address — it has to be the email the person signs in to BakoshApp with.
"Daily sending limit reached — try again tomorrow." You've used today's 10 attempts.
"This account has too many presets waiting for an answer — ask them to go through those first." The recipient has 20 unanswered presets. They need to accept or decline some.
"The preset limit for this mod is reached." Delete a preset you don't need, or get PRO for up to 10 per mod.
Can I move a preset from GTA V KOTH to GTA V KOTH Auto? No — a preset stays with its mod, because each mod has its own actions.
