GTA V Train

Automatic modification (MAX plan): spectators obstruct the train and try to derail it

GTA V Train is a train-simulation mod for Grand Theft Auto V. You can start and stop trains, switch between tracks, change direction, adjust speed, and tweak the health of the carriages. It's the first automatic mod in BakoshApp — it runs on its own and doesn't require TikTok viewer activity to do something interesting (although you can still bind its actions to gifts, likes, or chat if you want).

Warning

GTA V Train requires the MAX subscription tier ($20/month). On Free and PRO the mod card in the sidebar opens, but the activation toggle is locked, the Events & Actions tab is gated, and the install buttons are disabled. See Free vs PRO vs MAX and Upgrade PRO → MAX to unlock it.

Info

Train shares the same GTA V mod archive (gta.zip) with KOTH and Chaos, but each variant has its own install folder (gta_train_folderPath). You can point all three at the same GTA V install and a single download covers everything — or keep three separate GTA V installs, one per variant. Only one mod can be active at a time, switched from the sidebar.

What's an automatic mod?

BakoshApp mods come in two flavours:

  • Interactive mods — KOTH, Chaos, Rust Survival, RDR2 Chaos. They react to TikTok events (gifts, likes, chat, follows, shares). The point is to bridge your stream with your viewers. Available on PRO ($10/mo) and above.
  • Automatic mods — marked with an "A" badge in the sidebar. They run on their own, without requiring viewer activity. Available on MAX ($20/mo) only.

GTA V Train is the first automatic mod, with more on the way. MAX includes everything in PRO plus access to every current and future automatic mod.

Page layout

The GTA V Train page has two tabs:

  • Manage Mod — install, update, remove the mod, and set the path to your GTA V folder. There is no separate Settings modal — the only configurable item (the install path) lives directly on this tab.
  • Events & Actions — list of train-specific actions plus the shared GTA V catalog. Locked for Free/PRO accounts; a direct URL redirects them back to Manage Mod.

Installation

  1. Open the GTA V Train page and switch to the Manage Mod tab.
  2. Click Change folder under Path to GTA V and select the root folder containing GTA5.exe. This folder is independent from the one set for KOTH and Chaos — you can point it at the same install or a separate one.
  3. Press the install button. Its label adapts to the current state:
    • Install Mod (green) — not installed yet.
    • Update Mod (yellow) — a newer version is available.
    • Reinstall Mod (yellow) — latest version installed; reinstall optional.
    • Loading… / Processing… — download or processing in progress.
  4. Toggle the mod on from its card in the sidebar.
Important

Do not install GTA V inside C:\Program Files. Windows permissions on that folder break mod installation. See Access denied if you hit permission errors.

If KOTH or Chaos is already installed in the same GTA V folder, the Train page will immediately show Update Mod or Reinstall Mod — no separate download is needed. To remove the mod, click Delete Mod (red). It removes the shared files for whichever variant you targeted.

Free/PRO users see lock overlays

Every button on the Manage Mod tab (Change folder, Install, Delete) is wrapped in a disabled lock overlay for non-MAX accounts, with a tooltip showing a Sparkles icon and the text "MAX tier required". Clicking the card toggle in the sidebar opens the Pricing Plans modal instead of activating the mod.

Information cards

Below the management card on the Manage Mod tab, you'll find:

  • Installation — a step-by-step walkthrough (pick folder → install → activate in sidebar).
  • TikFinity Integration — short reminder: add an action in BakoshApp's Actions tab with a TikFinity trigger first, then add it inside TikFinity via Actions → Third-party action. Full guide: TikFinity setup.

Action catalog

Train ships with three groups of actions on the Events & Actions tab:

1. Train-specific actions (category Trainmod, 17 actions)

ActionWhat it doesParameterized

2. Shared GTA V actions

Through the catalog borrowing mechanism, Train pulls in every category from gtav-actions.json — the same shared GTA V catalog used by KOTH and Chaos:

  • GTA V Vehicles — spawn cars, trucks, bikes, planes, helicopters, boats.
  • GTA V Props — spawn ramps, barriers, environmental objects.
  • GTA V Other — miscellaneous extras.

These are the same categories you see in KOTH and Chaos. On a MAX account, all of them are unlocked in full — Free-tier limits don't apply because MAX is strictly above PRO.

3. Overlay Control

A satellite catalog of stream overlays (animations, screen effects) that is shared across all three GTA V variants (KOTH, Chaos, Train).

Parameterized actions (number suffix via _)

Six of the seventeen train actions are parameterized — they have a param: { min, max, default } field in the catalog. Here's what that means:

  1. When you add the action from the All Actions dialog, an inline NumberStepper appears next to its row.
  2. The number you type becomes part of the resulting actionId. For example, Speed Up with value 456 is stored as speed_up_456.
  3. The mod plugin parses that suffix and applies the value at runtime.
  4. Random groups and parameterized actions can't be combined. The dialog will show a destructive toast if you try. If you want three different speed bumps (say Speed Up: 50, Speed Up: 200, Speed Up: 500), create three separate rows in the Events & Actions table, each with its own trigger.

In-game menu (F11): HUD layout

Press F11 in game to open the mod menu — it only opens while the mod is active (connected to BakoshApp). Move with the arrow keys: ↑ / ↓ select an item, ← / → change its value, Enter opens a submenu or starts number entry (type a value, Enter to confirm, Esc to cancel), Backspace / Esc goes back or closes the menu.

Info

Every position is per mod — the menu edits whichever mod is currently active, and KOTH, Chaos, Train, and KOTH Auto each keep their own values. Changes save automatically and sync back to BakoshApp, so they persist between sessions.

Move the Wins counter

Open Wins, then adjust Cords X (horizontal — higher moves it right) and Cords Y (vertical — higher moves it down). Both range 0–500. The same page also has Show Wins, Text Size, colours, font, and prefix text.

Move the Health bar

Open Health Bar, then set Bar X and Bar Y — these go from 0.0 to 1.0, where 0.5 is the centre of the screen. Bar Width, Bar Height, Bar Color Set, and Display As Percentage are here too.

Move the speed and survive-timer read-outs

Train shows two extra read-outs instead of the Distance one. Open Mph to reposition the speed display, or Survive Timer for the survival countdown — both use Cords X / Cords Y (0–500), just like the Wins counter.

Common questions

I'm on PRO, can I use Train? No — Train is MAX-only. The upgrade button is in Settings → Subscription card (Upgrade to MAX) and also on bakosh.app/proaccount. Lemon charges a prorated difference for the days left in the current month — no separate cancellation needed. Full proration details: Upgrade & Downgrade between PRO and MAX.

Do I need a separate GTA V install for Train? No — but you can if you want. Train uses its own folder setting (gta_train_folderPath), independent from KOTH and Chaos. Point all three at the same install to keep things simple, or keep separate installs for separate setups.

Why are some categories the same as KOTH and Chaos? Through catalog borrowing, Train pulls in the shared GTA V catalog (Vehicles, Props, GTA V Other) plus Overlay Control. Those categories are common to all three GTA V variants — they live in gtav-actions.json, not in any one mod.

The mod card looks locked — what do I click? Click the card itself (not the toggle) to open the Pricing Plans modal with the Upgrade to MAX button. Patreon-only subscribers can't upgrade through that button (no Lemon subscription) — they have to buy MAX as a separate checkout; the old Patreon will keep running in parallel.

Where do I check whether MAX is active? Settings → Subscription Status card shows the current tier (PRO or MAX), source, and renewal date.
