System requirements
What your PC needs to run BakoshApp and stream with it: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), an internet connection, the game, and TikTok Live Studio for TikTok.
BakoshApp itself is light. What your PC really needs to handle is the game you stream — and, for Rust Survival and the Minecraft mods, a game server running next to it.
Computer
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. macOS, Linux and 32-bit Windows aren't supported.
- An internet connection whenever BakoshApp runs — the app doesn't start offline.
- The game, installed from an official source, and enough power to stream it.
The server mods need more. The install dialog of Rust Survival recommends an 8-core CPU, 32 GB of RAM and an NVMe SSD, because the Rust server runs on the same PC as the game; its Low PC preset makes the server lighter. The Minecraft server takes 2–4 GB of RAM by default. Minecraft x GTA V Chaos runs GTA V and Minecraft at the same time; Minecraft takes up to 4 GB of RAM there.
To stream on TikTok
To go LIVE on TikTok from a PC you need TikTok Live Studio, whichever way BakoshApp receives your events. With TikFinity you also need TikFinity running. The Native Connector (PRO) needs nothing else.
For Kick (PRO), only your channel name is needed.
Antivirus
Some antivirus programs flag BakoshApp or the mod files it downloads. If the app doesn't start, disappears after installing, or a mod install fails for no clear reason, add these folders to your antivirus exclusions:
C:\Program Files\BakoshApp
%LOCALAPPDATA%\BakoshAppThe first is the program, the second holds its settings and download cache. For Rust Survival, also exclude the server folder (C:\RustServer by default).
Game folder
Keep your games out of C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86): Windows doesn't let programs write there, so mod installs fail. See Permission errors.
