Minecraft OneBlock

Minecraft OneBlock for TikTok LIVE and Kick: survive on a single block in the void that keeps coming back, while viewers send loot, islands, mobs and TNT.

You stand on a single block in the void. Break it and it comes back as the next one — dirt, logs, ores, now and then a chest or a mob — and you build your island out of what it gives. Viewers send loot chests, blocks and helpful mobs, or a ring of TNT, a spider island and lightning. Every phase you finish is a win.

Plan: every plan. On Free, 17 actions work; PRO and MAX unlock all 109.

Minecraft OneBlock runs on the same server as Minecraft Survival — installing, starting, connecting and the server settings are described there. Switch Minecraft OneBlock on in the sidebar; if another Minecraft mode was running, the server keeps going and just changes the mode.

How it plays

  • You're taken to a separate world — always day, no weather, no wild mobs — and stand on the block in the void. Your survival inventory and position are saved and come back when you leave the mode.
  • The island stays. What you build, the animals and mobs the block let out, your OneBlock inventory and the phase you're on wait for you until next time.
  • Break the block (by hand or with a tool, as in normal Minecraft) and it comes back at once as another block of the current phase. What it drops goes straight into your inventory, so nothing falls into the void. About one break in 25 turns it into a loot chest, and about one in 12 lets a mob of the phase out.
  • Phases come in order: Plains, Underground, Snow, Ocean, Jungle, Desert, Nether, Deep Dark, The End — then Plains again. Each lasts 40 broken blocks by default; the bar at the top shows the phase and how many blocks you've broken out of how many.
  • Finishing a phase is a win: "PHASE COMPLETE!", fireworks, and the next phase's blocks from then on.
  • The rest is survival: hunger, mobs and falls are real, and falling into the void kills (unless Falling into the void kills is off). You come back on the block with your inventory.
  • Ice the block turns into melts into water when you break it without Silk Touch — that counts as a broken block too, and the next one comes back at once. Beds and portals don't work on the island: a bed doesn't move your spawn point here, and a Nether portal won't light.

What viewers can do

Minecraft: Give Items (from Survival)192

  • Loot Chest turns the block into a chest with loot of the current phase; if the block is a chest already, more loot goes into it.
  • Grow The Island adds rings of grass round the block; Tree Island floats up a little grass island with a tree nearby.
  • Spider Island brings a little mossy cobblestone island hung with cobwebs, with cave spiders and a big spider boss carrying the viewer's name.
  • TNT Ring hangs eight lit TNT in a ring around you — on a small island too, they don't drop into the void.
  • Reset The Island removes everything you built — cobwebs, torches and flowers too — and the viewers' mobs on it; the block itself stays, and so do your inventory and the phase.
  • Complete The Phase finishes the current phase at once and counts as a win.

External Commands, the Win Counter and Team Score actions and the Avatar actions are available on every plan.

Mode settings apply at once.

Overlay

The Win Counter counts every phase you finish, and the Death Counter every death — see Overlay.

Commands

Besides the Survival commands, operators have /bakosh oneblock break (break the block once, counted) and /bakosh oneblock restart (remove the island and start again from Plains).

Common questions

Do I lose the island when I switch modes? No. The island, the phase and your OneBlock inventory stay; your survival inventory comes back while you're away.

Why didn't stone drop anything? It's normal Minecraft: stone and ores need a pickaxe. Build one from the logs and chests the block gives.

How do I start over? Run /bakosh oneblock restart in the server console or in the game as an operator.
