Connection and app errors

What to do when BakoshApp can't reach the server, loses the game or your session, when TikFinity reports an error, and when the AI Support Chat doesn't answer.

"No connection to the server"

BakoshApp needs the internet to start. If it can't reach bakosh.app, it shows "No connection to the server" with a Try Again button. Check, in this order:

  • that the PC is online at all;
  • the antivirus, firewall, VPN or proxy — one of them may be blocking BakoshApp;
  • the date and time of your PC: when the clock is far off, secure connections fail.

"Connection lost. Check your internet connection."

The connection dropped while the app was running. BakoshApp repeats the message only once, and reconnects as soon as the internet is back. If it keeps coming, look at the same things as above.

"Session Expired"

"Your account was logged in on another device. Please log in again." — an account can be signed in to BakoshApp on one PC at a time, and signing in elsewhere signs out this one. Sign in again; nothing is lost.

The game doesn't react

When Test on an action says "Game mod is not connected", or TikFinity reports Integration Error Missing data attribute, the game isn't connected to BakoshApp. Actions for the game wait for it; External Commands and overlay actions work without it.

  1. Make sure the same mod is switched on in the BakoshApp sidebar and loaded in the game.
  2. Start the game after BakoshApp, and wait until it has fully loaded — the mod connects by itself.
  3. The game talks to BakoshApp over local port 25655. If another program uses that port, or a firewall blocks it, the connection fails.

No need to restart TikFinity: once the game is connected, its errors stop.

Testing an action

MessageMeaning
"Wrong mod active"The action belongs to another mod. Switch that mod on in the sidebar.
"This action is turned off"The action's power button is off on the Actions tab.
"This action requires PRO"The action isn't part of the Free set — see Free vs PRO vs MAX.

Updates

If an update fails, the BakoshApp Update screen shows the reason. Try again starts the download again; Later closes the screen, and you keep working with the current version. When BakoshApp starts with a required update, there's no Later — it has to be installed. The mod and TikFinity keep running while the update downloads, so a failed download doesn't interrupt your stream. If it fails every time, download BakoshApp again and install it over the current version.

AI Support Chat

MessageMeaning
"You have reached the message limit…"The chat allows 30 messages per 24 hours per account. Try again later, or ask in Discord.
"Message is too long. Maximum length is 1200 characters."Shorten the message or split it.
"Sorry, no response was received." / "An error occurred while connecting to the AI server…"The AI service didn't answer. Try again in a minute.
"Your access to the AI assistant has been blocked."Your account can't use the chat. Write to support@bakosh.app.

Folder picker

"Failed to open folder dialog" — Windows couldn't open the folder picker. Restart BakoshApp and try again.
