Audio system
Give every action a sound: pick one from the Myinstants library or upload your own (PRO), set its volume and player type, and trim it.
Every action can have a sound that plays in BakoshApp when the action runs — an explosion, a meme line, a sting. Sounds come from two places: the Library of public sounds, available on every plan, and My Sounds — files you upload yourself, with PRO or MAX.
The sound plays from BakoshApp, not from the game, so capture the app's audio in OBS to put it on stream.
Add a sound to an action
- On the mod's Actions tab, click the Audio cell of the row. The Action Audio dialog opens.
- Find a sound on the Library or My Sounds tab and click Select next to it.
- Adjust the volume, player type and length below the list (see the next sections).
- Click Save.
The Audio cell now shows the sound's name, volume and player type; the × next to it removes the sound. A sound plays once each time the action runs — at the start, even if the action's Counts makes it repeat.
Library
Public sounds from Myinstants.com. Type in Search Sounds... to search; with the search empty, the tab shows the sounds trending in your country.
My Sounds (PRO)
Upload your own audio files. Any common audio file works, for example MP3, WAV, OGG or M4A. BakoshApp compresses each file to MP3 (96 kbps, mono) before uploading it.
- Up to 5 MB per file and 10 minutes per sound.
- Up to 50 MB in total — the counter on the tab shows how much you use. Delete old sounds to free up space.
Your sounds play only while you have PRO or MAX. Without it, actions that use them still run, but silently; Library sounds keep playing on every plan.
Volume, player type and trimming
-
Audio Volume — 0–100 %, 80 % by default.
-
Player Type decides what happens when a sound starts while another one is playing:
- Short (the default) — the new sound replaces the one playing.
- Priority — the new sound replaces the current one only if its Priority (1-20) is at least as high; otherwise it isn't played.
- Force — sounds overlap, up to 10 at once; beyond that the oldest one stops.
The three types play separately and never cut each other off.
-
Trimming — drag across the waveform to play only part of the sound; Play selection previews it, Full length resets it.
Downloads and cache
BakoshApp downloads each sound once and keeps it in a local cache (up to 500 MB; the oldest unused sounds are removed first), so it plays without a delay. If a sound can't be downloaded when you save it, you'll see "Sound saved, but not downloaded yet" — the app tries again the next time the action runs.
Common questions
The action runs, but I hear nothing. Check that BakoshApp isn't muted in the Windows volume mixer and that the row's Audio cell shows a sound. If the sound is from My Sounds, it needs an active PRO or MAX plan.
Viewers don't hear the sounds. The sound plays on your PC. Add BakoshApp's audio to OBS — for example, with an Application Audio Capture source.
Do sounds come along when I send a preset? Library sounds do. Sounds from My Sounds don't: the recipient gets those actions without a sound and can pick their own — see Presets. A copy of a preset in your own account keeps all its sounds.
