RDR2 Chaos
Chaos mode for RDR2 — 185+ random effects driven by your TikTok audience. Install, activate, and configure triggers in BakoshApp.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Chaos brings the same audience-driven chaos formula to the wild west. Each viewer gift or chat trigger can fire one of 185+ random in-game effects — time and weather changes, NPC and animal spawns, screen filters, and player-state effects. The result is a stream where your audience writes the script.
Page layout
The RDR2 Chaos page has two tabs:
- Manage Mod — install, update, remove the mod, and set the path to your RDR2 folder. Mod parameters are opened with the gear icon on the mod card, which launches the Settings modal.
- Events & Actions — list of chaos effects bound to viewer actions, plus trigger and sound configuration. See Triggers for details.
Requirements
- Windows PC (see System requirements).
- Red Dead Redemption 2 from the Rockstar Games Launcher or Steam.
- BakoshApp installed and signed in. If you haven't yet, follow Installation and First login.
Installation
- Open the Red Dead Redemption 2 Chaos page and switch to the Manage Mod tab.
- Click Change folder under Path to RDR2 and select the root folder containing
RDR2.exe. - Press the install button. Its label adapts to the current state:
- Install Mod (green) — not installed yet.
- Update Mod (yellow) — a newer version is available.
- Reinstall Mod (yellow) — latest version installed; reinstall optional.
- Loading… / Processing… — download or processing in progress.
- Toggle the mod on from its card in the sidebar.
Do not install RDR2 inside C:\Program Files. Windows permissions on that folder break mod installation. See Access denied if you hit permission errors.
To remove the mod entirely, click Delete Mod (red). It's only available when the mod is installed.
Information cards
Below the management card on the Manage Mod tab, you'll find:
- Installation — a step-by-step walkthrough (pick folder → install → activate in sidebar).
- TikFinity Integration — quick reminder: add an action in BakoshApp's Actions tab with a TikFinity trigger first, then add it inside TikFinity via Actions → Third-party action. Full guide: TikFinity setup.

Connecting TikTok events
The Events & Actions tab is where you bind viewer actions to chaos effects. Each entry has:
- An action (the in-game effect).
- A trigger (TikTok gift, chat keyword, follow, or TikFinity action).
- Optional sound and audience filters.

Common questions
Does the mod work with both Rockstar Launcher and Steam versions of RDR2?
Yes. Point the Path to RDR2 picker to the folder containing RDR2.exe regardless of the store.
Why are some effects greyed out? Locked effects are PRO-only. Upgrade your plan to unlock the full 185+ effects.
Viewers send gifts but nothing happens in the game. Check that the RDR2 Chaos toggle is on in the sidebar, that the relevant action has a trigger assigned on the Events & Actions tab, and that the TikTok connector is live. See also General errors.

Can I run RDR2 Chaos and a GTA V mod at the same time? Each mod has its own activation toggle in the sidebar. BakoshApp routes events to whichever mod is currently active for its game — you can keep RDR2 Chaos on while GTA V KOTH or GTA V Chaos is also configured, but only one mod per game receives events at a time.
