Native Connector (PRO)

BakoshApp's built-in TikTok LIVE connector — receive gifts, likes, follows and chat directly without TikFinity. PRO only.

PRO-only feature

The Native Connector is only available on the BakoshApp PRO plan. On the Free plan, use TikFinity instead. See Free vs PRO for a feature comparison.

What it is

The Native Connector is BakoshApp's built-in way to receive TikTok LIVE events directly — no TikFinity required. Once enabled, BakoshApp speaks to TikTok on its own and dispatches gifts, likes, chat, follows and other events to the actions you've configured.

Live Studio is still required for streaming

The Native Connector only replaces TikFinity (the middleware that forwards events from TikTok to BakoshApp). You still need TikTok Live Studio to actually run a TikTok LIVE from your PC — that's a separate requirement for any PC-based TikTok streaming, regardless of which connector you use.

Both paths assume you stream from PC, so both require TikTok Live Studio to host the LIVE itself. For the full side-by-side, see TikFinity vs Native Connector.

How to connect

  1. Make sure you have an active PRO subscription. Manage it at https://bakosh.app/proaccount — see also How to buy PRO.
  2. Sign in to your TikTok streamer account and start TikTok LIVE the usual way you stream from PC — typically through TikTok Live Studio. TikFinity is not required.
  3. In BakoshApp, toggle the active mod from its card in the sidebar.
  4. Open the mod's Events & Actions tab. For each action, press the Trigger button and pick the event that should fire it (gift, like, chat, …). See Triggers for the full type list.
  5. BakoshApp will connect to TikTok LIVE automatically and start receiving events. The connection status is visible in the sidebar / header.

Connection statuses

StatusMeaning
ConnectingHandshake with TikTok in progress.
ConnectedConnection established — BakoshApp is listening to stream events.
DisconnectedConnection closed (stream ended, lost internet, or you toggled it off). If the LIVE goes active again, BakoshApp reconnects automatically.

Common issues

"Failed to get token" / JWT fetch failed

Cause: the Bakosh.app server didn't grant Native Connector access. Almost always either no active PRO subscription or a network hiccup.

Fix:

  • Check PRO status in your account (https://bakosh.app/proaccount).
  • Confirm you're signed in inside BakoshApp.
  • Verify your internet.
  • Restart BakoshApp.

"Connection closed by server" / WebSocket closed by server

Cause: TikTok terminated the connection — usually the LIVE ended or the session token expired.

Fix: BakoshApp reconnects automatically. If the LIVE is no longer running, that's normal — the connector will resume when LIVE comes back up.

"Status is Connected, but no events arrive"

Three usual causes:

  1. No triggers assigned. Every row on Events & Actions needs a Trigger with a type filled in. Without it the action will never fire.
  2. Trigger condition not met. You set a specific gift / minimum like count / specific username, and the live audience hasn't matched yet.
  3. Wrong mod active. The configured actions live on a different mod than the one you toggled on in the sidebar.

"One rose from a viewer fires the action multiple times"

This shouldn't happen — BakoshApp has built-in deduplication. One sent gift = one action run. If you're seeing duplicates, double-check that you don't have two actions wired to the same gift. See the Triggers page for the gift streak protection details.
