Trigger types

Trigger types in BakoshApp — how Gift, Like, Chat, Min-Max, Follow, Share, Joined, Super Fan and Tikfinity triggers behave, plus the Like accumulator and gift streak deduplication.

A trigger is the rule that connects a TikTok event (a gift, a like, a comment, …) to one specific in-game action. On every mod page, the Events & Actions tab shows your actions; each row has a Trigger button that opens the trigger picker.

Warning

An action without a trigger does not auto-fire. It also won't show up in TikFinity's Third-party action list. Press Trigger, pick a type, and save — that's what turns an action "live".

Trigger types via Native Connector (PRO)

These types are available when you use the Native Connector.

TypeFires on
GiftA viewer sends a gift. You can lock to a specific gift (Rose, Galaxy, …) or accept any.
LikeLikes from viewers. Fires when an accumulated threshold is reached.

Super Fan (Subscribe)A viewer activated a paid TikTok subscription.

Trigger type via TikFinity

TypeFires on
TikfinityAny event forwarded from TikFinity (Add Trigger → Third-party action). The specific condition (gift name, minimum count, …) is set inside TikFinity, not in BakoshApp. See TikFinity setup.

Per-type behaviour

Gift — pick a gift, dedup the rest

In the Gift trigger picker you select a specific gift from the full TikTok gift catalog. The catalog is loaded from the Bakosh.app server and depends on your region — the US and Europe see slightly different gift sets. The region is detected automatically.

BakoshApp deduplicates streaks:

  • One Rose sent → action fires once.
  • A streak of 99 Roses → action fires 99 times — not more, not less.
  • Duplicate events inside the same streak never multiply the action.

When you switch the active mod, streak counters are cleared.

Like — the accumulator

TikTok delivers likes in small bursts (1–15 at a time). To make a "100 likes" trigger fire correctly, BakoshApp accumulates likes and fires when the configured threshold is hit.

  • After firing, the counter resets to 0 and a new round starts.
  • Switching the active mod also resets the counter.

Min-Max (Coins) — gift value range

Fires on any gift whose Diamond value falls inside the configured range. Use this when you want one action for cheap gifts (say, 1–10 diamonds) and a different action for big ones (1000+).

Chat / Follow / Share / Joined / Super Fan

Plain event triggers — no parameters beyond the optional audience filter. Useful for chat-triggered actions, shoutouts on new follows, etc.

Tikfinity

Acts as a passthrough: BakoshApp doesn't inspect the event itself, it just fires the action when TikFinity tells it to. All filtering is configured in TikFinity.

Audience filters

Every trigger can be additionally narrowed by who the event has to come from — Anyone, Guest, Follower, Friend, a specific Username, or Subscriber. Audience filters are explained on their own page: Audience filters.

How to assign a trigger

  1. Open the mod page → Events & Actions.
  2. On the action row, click Trigger.
  3. In the modal:
    • Pick a type (Gift / Like / Chat / Min-Max / Follow / Share / Joined / Super Fan), or press the large Tikfinity button at the top.
    • Fill in parameters — for Gift, pick a specific gift; for Like, set the threshold; for Min-Max, set the range.
    • Optionally set an audience filter.
  4. Press Save. The trigger is saved to your cloud profile and applies immediately.

If you picked Tikfinity, the action also appears inside TikFinity at Add Action → Third-party action. Any other type stays inside BakoshApp and is fired via the Native Connector.

FAQ

I picked a gift but nothing fires. Check that the correct mod is toggled on in the sidebar. If you're on the Native Connector, status must be Connected. If you're on TikFinity, it must be running with a Trigger of type Third-party action pointing at this action.

One Rose triggers my action 3 times — bug? Almost certainly not. One viewer sending Rose once = one fire. Sending it three times = three fires. Duplicates inside a single streak don't multiply.

I want different effects for different gifts. Create multiple actions, give each a Gift trigger locked to a different gift.

I want an effect only from followers. Open the trigger and set the audience filter to Follower (or Subscriber). See Audience filters.

"100 likes → action" — how? Type = Like, Like Count = 100. The counter accumulates and resets after each fire.

Can I attach multiple triggers to one action? No — one action, one trigger. If you need more, duplicate the action, or use Tikfinity and aim multiple TikFinity Triggers at the same BakoshApp action.
