GTA V KOTH
King of the Hill mode for GTA V — install, activate, configure, and link to TikTok-driven triggers in BakoshApp.
GTA V KOTH (King of the Hill) is a competitive game mode for Grand Theft Auto V that turns your stream into an interactive battle for territory. Viewers on TikTok trigger in-game events through gifts and chat, and a built-in scoreboard tracks wins so the stream can host running tournaments.
KOTH and GTA V Chaos share the same mod files. One install covers both modes, but only one can be active at a time — toggle the active mod from its card in the sidebar.
Page layout
The GTA V KOTH page has two tabs:
- Manage Mod — install, update, remove the mod, and set the path to your GTA V folder. Mod parameters are opened with the gear icon on the mod card, which launches the Settings modal.
- Events & Actions — list of viewer-triggered actions, plus trigger and sound configuration. See Triggers for details.
Installation
- Open the GTA V KOTH page and switch to the Manage Mod tab.
- Click Change folder under Path to GTA V and select the root folder containing
GTA5.exe. This path is shared with GTA V Chaos — you only set it once. - Press the install button. Its label adapts to the current state:
- Install Mod (green) — not installed yet.
- Update Mod (yellow) — a newer version is available.
- Reinstall Mod (yellow) — latest version installed; reinstall optional.
- Loading… / Processing… — download or processing in progress.
- Toggle the mod on from its card in the sidebar.
Do not install GTA V inside C:\Program Files. Windows permissions on that folder break mod installation. See Access denied if you hit permission errors.
To remove the mod entirely, click Delete Mod (red). The button is only available when the mod is installed.
Information cards
Below the management card on the Manage Mod tab, you'll find:
- Installation — a step-by-step walkthrough (pick folder → install → activate in sidebar).
- TikFinity Integration — quick reminder: first add an action in BakoshApp's Actions tab with a TikFinity trigger, then add it inside TikFinity via Actions → Third-party action. Full guide: TikFinity setup.
In-game hotkeys
The same hotkeys work for both KOTH and Chaos:

In-game menu (F11): HUD layout
Press F11 in game to open the mod menu — it only opens while a mod is active (connected to BakoshApp). Move with the arrow keys: ↑ / ↓ select an item, ← / → change its value, Enter opens a submenu or starts number entry (type a value, Enter to confirm, Esc to cancel), Backspace / Esc goes back or closes the menu.
Every position is per mod — the menu edits whichever mod is currently active, and KOTH, Chaos, Train, and KOTH Auto each keep their own values. Changes save automatically and sync back to BakoshApp, so they persist between sessions.
Move the Wins counter
Open Wins, then adjust Cords X (horizontal — higher moves it right) and Cords Y (vertical — higher moves it down). Both range 0–500. The same page also has Show Wins, Text Size, Text Color / Prefix Color, Text Font, Prefix Text, Hide Goal, and the Number Of Wins / Number Of Wins To Goal counters.
Move the Health bar
Open Health Bar, then set Bar X and Bar Y — these go from 0.0 to 1.0, where 0.5 is the centre of the screen. You can also tweak Bar Width, Bar Height, Bar Color Set, and Display As Percentage here.
Move the progress percentage
Open Distance, set Format to Percentage, then position it with Cords X / Cords Y (0–500), the same way as the Wins counter. Colour, font, size, and prefix text live on the same page.
KOTH settings
KOTH-specific parameters — arena sizes, donation rules, scoreboard appearance — live on the dedicated configurator at https://bakosh.app/gtavkoth. Changes there apply automatically the next time you start the mode in game.

Common questions
Do I need to install Chaos separately if I already have KOTH? No. The mod files are shared — after installing either mod, the other page will immediately show that no install is needed. Only one can be active at a time via the sidebar toggle.
Can I play KOTH and Chaos in the same session?
Yes, you can switch between them in-game using H and J. However, BakoshApp routes TikTok events only to the mod currently toggled on in the sidebar.
