Settings page
Check your subscription status (Free / PRO / MAX) and change interface language from the global Settings page in BakoshApp.
The Settings entry in the BakoshApp sidebar opens the global application settings. Do not confuse it with the per-mod Settings modal, which is opened by the gear icon on a mod card and controls parameters of that specific mod only — there used to be a separate tab for it, but that tab has been removed.
The global Settings page has two cards:
- Subscription Status — current status of your subscription (Free, PRO, or MAX).
- Language — interface language selector.
Subscription Status card
This card shows the current status of your PRO access. The data is pulled directly from the server (/api/pro-status) and refreshes automatically on login, when your subscription status changes, and through a background poll every 5 minutes.
The card has four states.
1. Active (green "Active" badge)
Your subscription is active. Depending on the source, different fields are shown:

2. Cancelled (yellow "Cancelled" badge)
Your Lemon Squeezy subscription has been cancelled, but access is still active until the end of the paid period. The card shows: Source, Started, Active until (end of the grace period). After that date the card switches to the Free state.
3. Free
You are on the free plan. The card shows an invitation to upgrade to PRO and an Upgrade to PRO button, which opens the pricing and checkout modal.
4. Loading (skeleton)
A brief state on first load or right after login. Grey placeholders appear in place of the real content until the server returns your status.
If you have just logged in and only see grey placeholders, wait one or two seconds. If you then see the Free card with an Upgrade button, that means you do not have an active PRO subscription.
Language card
A select with 16 languages: English, Русский, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Português, Türkçe, العربية, Bahasa Indonesia, 日本語, 한국어, ไทย, Tiếng Việt, Filipino, Bahasa Melayu. Each option shows a country flag and the language name.
When you pick a new language, the interface re-renders instantly, and your choice is saved on the server (needed for server-rendered content such as emails and push notifications). For Arabic (العربية), the interface automatically switches to RTL mode (text flows right to left).
Your language preference is tied to your account, not to your device. If you log in on another PC, your interface language follows you automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I check if my subscription is active? Sidebar → Settings → Subscription Status card. The green "Active" badge means it is working. "Cancelled" means it has been cancelled but you still have access until a given date. No badge plus an Upgrade button means you are on the Free plan.
Until what date is my subscription valid? Look at the Subscription Status card. If there is a Renews on field, that is the next billing date. If there is an Active until field, your access ends on that date (either manually granted access or a cancelled Lemon Squeezy subscription).
How am I paying for PRO? The Source field tells you: Lemon Squeezy, Patreon, Granted access, or Referral bonus.
The Started field is empty — why? The start date is only recorded for Lemon Squeezy subscriptions. Patreon, referral bonuses, and granted access only show status and (where applicable) the end date.
I cancelled my subscription but the card still shows Active until — is that normal? Yes. Your subscription is cancelled but the paid period has not ended yet. After the displayed date the card will switch to the Free state.
