Community section
The in-app Community feed for ideas, bug reports, and feedback — how it differs from Discord and the AI Support Chat.
What is the Community section
Community is a section in the BakoshApp sidebar where users publish their own posts: feature ideas, bug reports, feedback, and requests. Every post can be voted on (upvote / downvote), and the feed can be filtered by category, status, tag, or sort order.
All posts are stored on Bakosh.app servers and are visible to every user of the app.
What to post there
- Ideas and feature requests — what to add to existing mods, which new games to support.
- Bug reports — describe the problem, steps to reproduce, attach screenshots.
- Questions and discussions — anything that is not pure live chat.
Upvotes signal to the developers which topics matter most to the userbase. The more votes a post collects, the higher its chance of being picked up.
A useful bug report contains: what you did, what you expected, what actually happened, your mod and BakoshApp version, and a screenshot or log snippet. The more details you give, the faster the issue can be reproduced and fixed.
Community vs Discord vs AI Support Chat
BakoshApp gives you three different channels to ask for help or share ideas, and each is best suited to a different scenario.
| Community | Discord | AI Support Chat | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Type | Forum, tracked tickets, voting | Real-time chat, voice, hangout | 24/7 AI assistant |
| Best for | Ideas, bugs, feature requests | Live help, talking to other streamers | Quick questions about setup, errors, documentation |
- Pick Community when you want your request to be publicly tracked and to collect upvotes from other users.
- Pick Discord when you want to talk to a real person right now, share clips, or hang out with other streamers using the mods.
- Pick AI Support Chat (at the bottom of the BakoshApp sidebar) when you need a quick, focused answer to a setup or error question.
How voting works
Each post can be upvoted or downvoted by any logged-in user. The vote counter on a card reflects net upvotes minus downvotes. Sorting the feed by "Top" surfaces the most-voted posts, which helps the team focus on what the community wants most.
You can also filter the feed by:
- Category — bug, idea, feedback, question, etc.
- Status — open, planned, in progress, completed, declined.
- Tag — used for grouping (mods, integrations, UI, etc.).
Frequently asked questions
Where do I post ideas? In the Community section of the BakoshApp sidebar. Create a post — other users will vote on it, and the team will see what gets the most traction.
Where do I report a bug? Community is the best place for bug reports with a detailed description. If something is urgent — drop a message in Discord.
I found an interesting Community post — how do I support it? Open the post and hit the upvote button. That signals the developers that the topic matters.
Who replies in Community? Other users and Bakosh.app admins. The AI assistant does not reply in the Community feed — for that, use the AI Support Chat.
Can I delete or edit my post? Yes. Open your post and use the menu in the top-right corner of the card.
