Kick and TikTok are equal event sources in BakoshApp — same actions, same overlay, same audio, same TTS Chat. What differs is what each platform actually tells the app. Everything on this page comes from the two APIs, not from a product decision.

Trigger types that don't exist on Kick

Like, Share and Joined are TikTok-only. Kick's official API does not emit any of them — there is no "viewer liked the stream" or "viewer joined" event to subscribe to. Use Gift, Chat, Follow, Subscribe or Min-Max on Kick instead.

Subscribe exists on both, but means something slightly different: on TikTok it's the paid Super Fan subscription; on Kick it's a paid channel subscription, and renewals count too — a viewer who stays subscribed produces an event every month.

Gifts: name vs price

On TikTok you pick a gift by name from a regional catalog, and matching is done by the gift's identity — so the trigger keeps working regardless of the viewer's language or your own region setting.

On Kick the gift event carries no gift identity at all, only what it was worth in Kicks. BakoshApp therefore matches by price, and the built-in list of 10 gifts is really a convenient way to type that price. Practical consequences:

• Two gifts of equal price are indistinguishable to a trigger.
• There is no region picker for Kick — the list is global.
• Min-Max (Coins) is often the better fit on Kick: it reads naturally as "any gift worth 100–500 Kicks".

Audience filters are shorter on Kick

Kick doesn't report whether a viewer follows the channel, is a friend, has ever sent a gift, or their fan-club level — none of that exists in its events. Subscriber and moderator status is only visible as badges on chat messages.

That's why BakoshApp only offers Anyone, Username, and (for Chat and Subscribe) Subscriber on Kick. A filter that could never match would be worse than no filter at all — it would look configured and silently never fire.

The same asymmetry shows up in TTS Chat: audience checks marked TikTok only never match on Kick, and the app warns you if your configuration would silence Kick chat entirely.

What is identical on both platforms

• Actions. Every action — game effects, External Commands, Overlay control — works the same regardless of which platform fired it.
• Overlay. No new widget types were needed for Kick; existing layouts keep working. The {platform} template variable lets a widget show which platform an event came from.
• Audio, counts, interval, timers. Settings on an action row are platform-agnostic.
• TTS Chat. Both chats can be read aloud, with per-platform toggles and per-platform gift thresholds.

Running both at once

Nothing needs to be shared or duplicated except triggers:

1. Connect both platforms in the app header.
2. For an action that should react on both, create two rows — same action, one TikTok trigger, one Kick trigger.
3. Give them separate thresholds where money is involved (Diamonds vs Kicks).

FAQ

Why doesn't my TikTok trigger fire on Kick? By design — a trigger belongs to the platform tab it was created on. Duplicate the row and give the copy a Kick trigger.

Will Like triggers come to Kick later? Only if Kick adds the event to its API. It's not a BakoshApp limitation.

My Kick chat trigger does nothing. Reconnect Kick. Chat subscriptions are requested at connect time, so a trigger added afterwards isn't covered until you reconnect — see Kick connector.

Do I need PRO for both platforms? You need PRO for Kick and for the TikTok Native Connector. TikTok via TikFinity stays available on Free.
