Audio system

Attach a sound to every action in BakoshApp. Search the MyInstants.com catalog, pre-cache for zero-latency playback, and troubleshoot common audio problems.

What it is

In BakoshApp you can attach a sound to every action. When the action fires (a viewer sends a gift, a like threshold is hit, …), the app plays the chosen sound at the same moment as the in-game effect. It makes the interaction feel alive — each action gets its own voice (an explosion, a meme line, a sting).

The sound catalog is MyInstants.com, a well-known library of short audio clips and memes. BakoshApp ships with built-in search over that catalog.

Assigning a sound to an action

  1. Open the mod page → Events & Actions tab.
  2. On the desired row, click the sound icon (or open the action card).
  3. The sound picker modal opens. Type a query (a meme name, a phrase) or browse Trending.
  4. Press a preview to listen. Once you've found the one you want, press Apply.
  5. Close the modal — the sound is saved to the action automatically.

From that point on, every time the action fires, your chosen sound plays.

Caching

  • When you open Events & Actions, BakoshApp pre-fetches the sounds of every action into its cache — so the first real fire has no startup delay.
  • The same sounds are also cached when you toggle the mod on.
  • Sounds are never re-downloaded. After the first fetch, playback is instant.

Region

MyInstants search and the Trending list depend on your country — the US trends one set of sounds, Europe trends another. The region is detected automatically by IP — there's nothing to switch manually.

Common issues

"No sound / silence"

  • Check your system volume and the Windows volume mixer (BakoshApp can be muted there independently).
  • After a long idle period, Windows may require one mouse click inside BakoshApp before it allows playback again.
  • Confirm that the action in Events & Actions actually has a sound attached.

"The sound loads slowly / cuts off"

  • Check your internet. On the very first fire, the file is downloaded; subsequent plays come from the cache.
  • If your connection is slow, open Events & Actions ahead of time — that kicks off the pre-fetch for all sounds.

"I can't find the sound I want"

MyInstants is an external catalog and the search runs against their library. Try other keywords or English. The Trending tab shows the most popular sounds for your region.

"After updating BakoshApp the sounds are silent"

Restart the app. If the issue persists, clear the app cache.

Quick reference

QuestionAnswer
Where do the sounds come from? The MyInstants.com catalog.
Can I upload my own sound? Not from the standard picker — the picker is bound to the MyInstants catalog.
Why is the first play laggy? The file is being downloaded. Open Events & Actions ahead of time so BakoshApp pre-caches every action's sound.
